Steak Totchos
INGREDIENTS
flat iron steak
32 oz bag of tator tots
1 can of black beans
1 can of nacho cheese
1 roma tomato
1/2 white onion
1 jalapeno
1/4 bunch of cilantro
sour cream
smoked salt
Char-Griller Taco & Fajita seasoning
DIRECTIONS
Make pico de gallo by dicing and combining roma tomato, white onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice and smoked salt.
Make guacamole by combining avocado, white onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, and smoked salt.
Add 1 can of black beans to a pot and warm over medium-high heat.
Add 1 can of nacho cheese to a pot and warm over medium-high heat. Add hot sauce if you wish.
Add tator tots to the griddle and season with Char-Griller's Taco & Fajita seasoning.
Season the flat-iron steak with Char-Griller's Taco & Fajita seasoning and cook on the griddle until it reaches an internal temperature of 125°
When the steak reaches 125°, remove and rest for 10 minutes. Slice the steak into thin strips.
Build your totchos by layering tator tots with nacho cheese, black beans, steak, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, cilantro, and hot sauce.
