Fry Bread Tacos
INGREDIENTS for PICO de GALLO
5 roma tomatoes
1 jalapeno
¼ large red onion
½ c cilantro
1 lime -juiced
salt to taste
INGREDIENTS for GUACAMOLE
3 avocados
½ jalapeno
¼ large red onion
½ c cilantro
½ lime -juiced
salt to taste
INGREDIENTS for HOT SAUCE
28 oz tomato sauce
1 tbs AP Seasoning
1 tbs cayenne pepper
2 tbs crushed red pepper
2 tbsp jalapeno juice
INGREDIENTS for TACOS
1 lbs ground beef
Blackston Taco & Fajita seasoning
WoodenKnife Fry Bread Dough
shredded cheese
canola oil
DIRECTIONS for PICO de GALLO
toss all ingredients together until well combined
DIRECTIONS for GUACAMOLE
mash 3 avocados to desired thickness with a potato masher
fold in remaining ingredients until well combined
DIRECTIONS for HOT SAUCE
combine ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil
reduce heat and simmer for 30 min
DIRECTIONS for TACOS
brown ground beef and season with Blackstone Taco & Fajita seasoning
lightly press out and shape fry bread
fill fry bread with taco meat and shredded cheese
fold fry bread over and crimp edges
fry the taco in 350° oil for 1-2 minutes per side
when tacos take on a light golden brown color, remove from oil
allow tacos to cool for a couple of minutes before slicing them open and filling with pico, guacamole, hot sauce, tater tots, and lettuce
