8-Minute Ribeye Steak
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2" Ribeye Steak
Char-Griller Steak Seasoning
Canola Oil
DIRECTIONS
Preheat your grill to 450° and insert your GrillGrates
Use a little canola oil as a binder and season 1 1/2" ribeye steaks with Char-Griller Steak seasoning
Allow the grill to come up to temp and for the seasoning to set on the steaks for 15-20 minutes
Place steaks on GrillGrates and set a timer for 2 minutes
After 2 minutes, rotate steaks 1/4 turn
After 2 more minutes (4 total minutes), flip steaks
Rotate 1/4 turn after 2 minutes (6 total minutes) and start checking the internal temperature of your steaks. For medium rare, shoot for 127°-132°
After 2 more minutes (8 total minutes), the steak should be around 128°. It might not take 8 minutes exactly, be sure to cook to internal temperature. It could be a minute or 2 more or less.
